At BTS, we believe in streamlining communication by providing a single, easily accessible point of contact for each client. However, any of our agents can step in to assist when needed in order to prevent any loss of communication or service.
Because we assign an individual agent to each client, we are able to dedicate specific time and attention to them and, in turn, enhance our knowledge of their specific requirements and needs.
Naturally, we take meeting those needs seriously. We are very selective when choosing the carriers we partner with through our brokerage arm:
- Carriers must have been in operation for a minimum of nine months and must be able to provide evidence of having successfully completed the DOT inspection process
- Carriers must operate with a minimum of $1,000,000 of auto liability coverage and $100,000 of cargo coverage; Carriers that will transport refrigerated or frozen loads must provide evidence of reefer breakdown coverage as well
- Carriers must have earned a minimum carrier performance rating of “B” based on safety, delivery, and broker evaluations
- Carriers must be vetted through the FMCSA Safety and Fitness Electronic Record identification system to ensure legitimacy
Additionally, we are dedicated to devoting time to negotiating the best rates for our clients within a fluid industry, leveraging the relationships we have established with carriers we have utilized over the past two and a half decades whenever possible.
Above all, we firmly believe in building true relationships with our clients rather than reducing them to merely names or numbers in a TMS database.
